Invites
Ok, so as I am making my own invites I thought I would get ahead a bit and start making bits for my wedding invites and save the dates. Found a great craft shop near me which sells card at very cheap prices so I bought all the card I thought I needed for my design and got them home. Me being the air head that I am had somehow worked out that if I needed 19 flowers on each invite then I would need 190 flowers in total for 100 invites! It wasn't until I had drawn out 100 that I realised I would actually need 1900! Soooooo..... back to the designing board to me as there is no way I am hand drawing and cutting out 1900 flowers! Will use the 100 I have done for save the dates though! So not a complete waste of time! xxxx

Hello Everyone
Hi Everyone!
This is my first ever blog so please bare with me while I get used to it!
I am 21 years old and have been with my partner for just over four years now and have been engaged to him for just over a year! We are planning on getting married in August 2014 and I am going to keep a diary on here of everything we do.
Unfortunately we will not have a very big budget as we are both currently students so I will be making most of the items for the wedding, including the Bridesmaid dresses! (EEEEK!!!)
We are hoping to view venues in April but other than that there has been no other real planning so far!
I will update the blog whenever something happens and tell you all about it but you may have to bare with me as the actual wedding is 2 and a half years away, so there may be some big gaps between posts!
I hope you will all enjoy reading my blog and following me through all of my planning!
